A crew from Horsham was sent to tackle the flames at the building in Guildford Road at around 2pm. A spokesman for the fire service said the small fire was put out before crews arrived. Firefighters used a house reel to dampen down the area and a thermal imaging camera to check for heat hotspots. The fire is being treated as an accident, the spokesman added.
