THE appeal to raise £1m for a new lifeboat station and boathouse at Shoreham has reached the £250,000 milestone thanks to a generous mystery donor.
A woman from Susses, who wishes to remain anonymous has donated £100,000 to the RNLI in support of the Shoreham Lifeboat Station Appeal.

She wrote to the RNLI to say how impressed she was by the dedication of its volunteer lifeboat crews and subsequently gave the money to enable the Shoreham crew to continue saving lives at sea.
