AN earlier version of a report on this website incorrectly stated that the late Vera Clevett had been involved in starting up Littlehampton Carnival.
In fact it was Kay Clevett, now Kay Padley, who joined forces with Freda Hughes to help launch the carnival.

We apologise for the mistake.
