Olympic celebration of sport

A SPECIAL celebration of sport being held at Bolnore Village recreation ground today will culminate in the raising of a London 2012 Olympic flag.
As the Olympic flag is handed over from Beijing to London at 2.30pm on Sunday, August 24, Mid Sussex District Council chairman councillor Margaret Hersey will raise a flag at a ceremony in Bolnore.
The event will take place from 11am until 3pm and promises to be a real festival of sport and arts celebrations with Chichester Youth Theatre performing and a range of sporting demonstrations for people to observe or take part, including hockey, football and table tennis.
Mid Sussex Martial Arts School will also be on hand with demonstrations from their local sporting champions.
