People of all ages found out about life on the ocean wave at the annual Chichester Harbour Working Boats Festival.
Around 500 people attended the event at Itchenor, which featured 20 different boats on display, from sleek yachts to functional fishing vessels.
Organised by the Chichester Harbour Conservancy, visitors were able to chat with the crews and find out about the area's coastguard and lifeboat services and the range of hi-tech equipment which they carry.
As well as modern boats, two classic and restored boats were on display, including The Terror, which worked with the Victorian oyster fleet at Emsworth, and Scottish fishing boat the Ocean Pearl.
Ali Beckett, of Chichester Harbour Conservancy said: "People of all ages were thrilled to climb aboard such a variety of boats. The festival was a successful celebration of all the boats and their crews who still use the harbour to make a living."
