Beckley pre-school Ofsted Report: The Staff’s hard work and dedication that they put in everyday has been fully recognised in the latest Ofsted report . The report has now been published and is available for everyone to see on the Ofsted website They achieved a “ Good “ rating with “ Outstanding” in how they meet the needs of the children that attend the setting. BT have stopped maintaining them and are likely to disconnect the phones and, in time, remove the boxes. However, it is possible for the Parish Council to adopt them if we do not wish the boxes to go. If adopted, the payphones inside will be removed and maintenance of the boxes will become the responsibility of the Parish Council. Other local councils have adopted their boxes and used them for other purposes, such as a base for a defibrillator or even a village library! We would like to know your views: would you like to see one or both of these phone boxes stay? If so, do you have any suggestions on how they could be used?
