COUNTY NEWS: Man charged with murder of Sussex man

A man has been charged with the murder of 50-year-old David Bond, whose body was found last Tuesday.

Police said Alan Knight, 51, of Osmonde Close in Worthing, was taken into custody on Sunday afternoon after surrendering to Lancashire Police in Fleetwood in the early hours of Friday morning.

Police said he required hospital treatment before travelling, and has since been remanded in custody.

He will appear before Brighton magistrates tomorrow.
