New LED lighting is being installed to the beacon meaning it can remain lit in the evenings after the Jubilee event

The historic beacon on Hove seafront will glow once again as part of the city’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the council has confirmed..

The beacon, on the Western Esplanade near the beach huts, will be lit on June 2, beginning a weekend of celebrations in the city to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
