The celebration was hosted by Sam’s uncle Trevor Standen. Sam, who was joined by his wife Trish, said: “We had a really nice time. I dressed up as an elf and people wore Christmas jumpers. We had a roast turkey dinner, followed by trifle. We also opened presents.” Sam is well known in Hastings for his fund-raising. Last year during the clap for the NHS in lockdown, Sam dressed up as Elvis Presley and serenaded people from his St Leonards door step.
