Have you had ‘Pine Mouth’?

PEOPLE who have been driven nuts by ‘Pine Mouth’, which is believed to have been caused by eating poor quality pine nuts, are urged to contact West Sussex County Council Trading Standards Service.

The service has been asked to assess the size of the problem in the county by the Food Standards Agency.

Graeme MacPherson, Head of Trading Standards Service, said: “’Pine Mouth’ is the name for the bitter aftertaste in the mouth you get after eating poor quality pine nuts.
