Plans to convert a Seaford care home into housing have been given the go ahead by Lewes councillors.
On Wednesday (June 9), Lewes District Council’s planning committee approved proposals to convert Hillersdon Court – an older persons’ care home in College Road – into two semi-detached houses and a block of three flats.
Following a short discussion, the scheme, which had seen no objections raised by local residents, was approved unanimously.
