A charity which supports people who have suffered sexual abuse was among 18 groups to be handed grants by Chichester City Council on Wednesday night.

Lifecentre was handed a cheque for £2,500 which will help fund two new play therapists for child victims.

Amongst the others to benefit were the Chichester Information Shop for Young People (£3,000) and the Festival of Chichester (£1,600).
