Published Date: 31 July 2008
FIRSTLY, I would like to thank the Steyning Herald for publicising the fact that St Andrew's churchyard in Steyning is a mess (July 17).
I did not expect to be front page news, but I believe it has stirred things a little. I shall keep it monitored. Secondly, I just wondered whether a solution might be, if Horsham District Council and Steyning Parish Council are hard up, to use labour from people carrying out community service.

Surely sorting out the churchyard would be of benefit to the community?

Mrs Pat Groves
Toomey Road
