SHOREHAM Football Club extended their unbeaten run to seven games on Tuesday evening (October 14) with an excellent 4-1 win at Hailsham.
Dean Smith and Rob Boddy both hit braces for Mussels, whose joint-boss Darren Donnelly said: "It was a good result, and we are heading in the right direction.
"It's never easy to win at Hailsham, but we had a lot of possession and did all right."
Smith glanced home Grant Philpott's cross-shot to give Shoreham a 43rd-minute lead, before he flicked home Dan Taylor's corner to make it 2-0 on 60 minutes.
Rob Boddy, converted a penalty, after a foul on Owen Callaghan, for Mussels' third on 71 minutes, but Hailsham pulled a goal back on 83 minutes. But Boddy had the last say with a low drive in the final minute.
