FOOTBALL: Shoreham progress in Senior Cup

SHOREHAM Football Club progressed to the Sussex Senior Cup second round with a 2-0 win at Seaford on Wednesday (August 27).
Jamie Groves and Neil Kane got the goals for Mussels, who will now host Westfield or Steyning in the next round.

Steyning and Mile Oak both exited the John O'Hara Cup to higher-division opposition on Wednesday. Steyning lost 2-1 at home to Three Bridges, and Mile Oak were defeated 3-0 by St Francis.
