WORTHING Football Club joint-manager Alan Pook is relishing Saturday's trip to Bury Town where a place in the FA Cup fourth-qualifying round awaits the winners.
Bury play in the Southern League Midlands Division, which is the same level as Rebels' Ryman League Division 1 South, and Pook said: "We're going there to try to win, although if we are still in the cup on Monday, I'll be delighted.
"The best form of defence is attack and that's what we will do. If we play well, we will do okay.
"The FA Cup means a lot to me, and it would mean a lot more if we get to the first-round proper. But we've got to take one step at a time. We can't look too far ahead because we could then end up very disappointed."
Rebels have been knocked out at the third-qualifying round stage in three of the past five seasons but could welcome back three players into their squad, who missed Saturday's FA Trophy win at Corinthian-Casuals.
Captain Ben Andrews should return after he rested a small tear in his calf. And Scott Kirkwood and Stuart Axten both return from suspension, but midfielder Paul Kennett is still doubtful with an ankle injury.
Bury have been managed for the last nine years by former Colchester, Cambridge and Hereford professional Richard Wilkins, who guided the club to the FA Vase semi-finals in 2005-06.
Pook said: "We've had them watched so know what they are about.
"They are a very strong side, especially at home, and had a good win over Chelmsford in the last round.
"It's the third time in four rounds we've been drawn away, but there's a very positive feel around the club at the moment.
"It's a match we are all very much looking forward to, and it's an exciting time at the club."
If Rebels draw on Saturday, the replay will be at the A2B Stadium on Tuesday evening (7.30pm). If there is a result, Worthing will entertain Walton & Hersham in the league on Tuesday.
