SHOREHAM Snooker Club have two players competing in the Brighton Snooker Players Association Summer League.
The league is made up of the area's top six players, and Southwick's Zack Richardson is leading the way after the first two games.
Shoreham are represented by Simon Dent, a national pool tour player, and Craig Pyke, who also plays for West Sussex.
Dent almost beat leader Richardson but lost 4-3.
Pyke has the highest break so far with 90, while Dent has 74, and Richardson has passed 50 on four occasions.
The league is 10 matches long and the winner receives £450. There are also prizes for the runner-up and for the highest break.
