PEOPLE have been invited to nominate members of the Steyning community they feel are deserving of special recognition.
The Steyning Millennium Awards are made to people living in the town who go the extra mile and benefit the area.

Last year, nomations for the certificates were opened up to allow people not living in Steyning, but whose contributions to the town
were considered significant.

Chairman Jackie Campbell said: "These are what we give out to people who we feel have earned an award for doing something voluntary in the community.

"We need nominations."

Nominations must be submitted in writing to Sue Booth, clerk to the council, by the end of October.

They can be handed in at or posted to the parish council office at the Steyning Centre, Fletcher's Croft, Steyning, or emailed to spcclerk@btconnect.com
